We ordered 3 grilled cheddar sandwiches and steak fries. The grilled cheddar is marketed as having bacon and other fancy stuff in it. For 13.95$ thats a fancy grilled cheese but yolo. Unfortunately we excitedly unwrapped our delivery and received bread with melted cheddar. Not even fancy grill marks or toasted bread … literally just bread with melted cheese. It was good bread but somebody needs to teach the kitchen staff what the menu says.

Potatoes were not cooked and chicken was dry and hard - like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. I've never had a bad meal from Madison Wine and Tap but tonight was awful.

The food and service is just so subpar ive tried this place 5 times both dine in and carry out and I am just always disappointed. Want something mediocre and overpriced? You have found the place!

I love Madison Market and their array of freshly prepared foods and baked goods. Of course the wines are great too!
