• 3/30/25I like taste of this hot spicy soup with toppings. Price was higher than amount of food, but its ok.
One thing i feel uncomfortable was container size and utensil number- i added some more toppings to eat with friend, but they sent only one set of utensil / the container was a paper and lid was like cup noodle( i cannot close it whether i finished the dish or not)

• 8/12/24The restaurant is named Mala town but there is no mala flavor. There is an overwhelming amount of sesame paste in my dish making it completely unpalatable. This does not resemble mala or sichuan cuisine in the least. They packed my $40 order into two tiny containers. I ordered Korean rice cakes as the base and they out 5 single thumb size rice cakes in the entire dish. The seafood is so over cooked and rubbery it cannot be eaten. Only giving it a 2 because some of the items are not too bad, but I would absolutely caution people not to order from this restaurant. Their 4.9 rating on google is most likely paid for. So disappointing. Nowhere near authentic and a horrible decision on my part, especially considering I was starving today. Please do better to reflect real Chinese cuisine.

• 7/5/26I’m disappointed with this order. Upon the first bite, the soup had a very strong, unpleasant sour taste—it didn't taste like vinegar or a natural ingredient, but rather like it had spoiled. I'm not sure if this happened because of the heat or because it was a late-night order. I couldn't finish the meal because of this, and I ended up discarding the entire order. I dined in at MalaTown before, nothing taste like this time

• 7/13/25Its freaking delicious. Portion, and taste is above expectations. Came packaged perfectly, and ate it hot.
