The PALERMO "Chicken" empanadas are DELICIOUS! The chimichurri sauce is one of the best tasting recipes. Sometimes the restaurant forgets to include the chimichurri sauce, which is a really big bummer. But I called them and they rectified it.
Also recommend the guava Pastafrola pie , the guava filling is tasty!

what's good: lots of filling (PACKED), great dough consistency, well baked, great flavor and herbs.
what's bad: The ones with cheese are just an enormous amount of cheese no other fillings pretty much - so much fatty plasticky cheese that it's hard to stomach. The ones with meat are good but a bit dry and would benefit from some cheese to balance the ingredients. Because my overall meal was about 85% dense cheese, rating 2 out of 5. If the filling combination ratio / balance was fixed, it could be a five. thank you!

I usually go in person but the empanadas were just as good through DoorDash! They package things well so they stay hot and don't get soggy

The PALERMO "Chicken" is the best. The rest are a little too salty. Tasty, nice crust, good amount of filling. But a bit expensive. Almost $9 for an empanada. The absolute WORST part is the restaurant sometimes forgets to include the chimichurri sauce, which is necessary for enjoying the empanadas. It's like they withhold ketchup from french fries. I see other reviewers have the same complaint about missing chimichurri sauce, so hope they take this feedback seriously.

I'm trying something new for a change and went for Empanadas. The boca Empanada was flavorful, and the other one was filled with Dulce de Leche and was just as good. I will be visiting them again. 😊 Sorry, no pictures, but I'm picky, so if I say good, then they must be.
