This was easily the best African food I’ve had in a long time! I’ve been having a massive craving for the longest time, and this completely hit the spot. I’m going to assume a woman cooked this because you can genuinely feel the love in every single bite.
Everything was incredibly delicious and perfectly spicy—I honestly couldn't stop eating. The food was so good that I inhaled an entire fufu way before I even finished my soup! The plantains were absolutely perfect too; they were soft, thick, and cooked beautifully, not all skinny and slimy like some places serve them. Plus, the beef suya was the perfect flavorful starter to kick off the meal. Fantastic experience all around!

I had to order again! Lol! Hands down this is the best tasting equsi soup out of all restaurants out here. I tried another restaurant and theirs was okay but Marie's is the best flavor it's so tasty,flavorful and the meat is tender.You have a loyal customer now!

Jollof rice was soggy. $10 extra charged for chicken, only to receive 2 inch cubes of dried out chicken breast and neck bones.
For the suya, it is an insult to call that thing suya. Wet and tough slices of beef with no resemblance to suya in either taste or look.

Fish was okay, great quality and portion but I'm sure it would've been great and hot if I dined in instead! Suya was very delicious but the portion is smaller than I expected for the price compared to others I've had that were cheaper & tastier with larger potions!

I order from this place so much it's quite frankly ridiculous. I must order once every other week if not more frequently. The Egusi with beef is my number one, go-to, hands down, winner winner chicken dinner. Speaking of chicken, Jollof rice with chicken is amazingly flavorful and very filling.
