Catfish the catfish was fried a little harder than I like but was seasoned well.
Sweet Tea. Not overly sweet, refreshing
Banana Pudding the banana pudding was good and the portion size was just right for me
Overall my meal was good and the portions were nice
I've eaten at Martin's Downtown many times. This is my first time ordering delivery and it was good

The grilled catfish was superb, 5 star. The black-eyed peas were of the chain. The sweet potato was steaming hot so the cinnamon butter just right in to add to the flavor. The Sweet Tea was awesome. Just right amount of sugar. The Cheesecake was phenomenal. I wish I had ask for chocolate syrup. I'm from NC and that was some real soul food. ❤️

First time ordering from this establishment and let me tell you everything was GREAT! Well seasoned very nice portions. Steak Bites Tender & Juicy. Next time I'll add more onions and mushrooms. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Fish fried perfectly.

The coleslaw and rice and gravy weren't that great. This fish had a good flavor but didn't really have that crunch but it was delicious. The shrimp however was not good. The breading was super soggy and soft. Maybe it's from the container and may have been better in the actual restaurant but I wouldn't recommend ordering for takeout for that reason. The fish was a good portion size but the shrimp was definitely a smaller portion. It did seem very fresh tho. All in all I would order again I would just pick some different sides and stay away from the shrimp for a to go item

Martin's has not let me down so far. Fish was crispyon the outside and tender on the inside. The vegetables tasted homemade with the proper seasoning. I do hate they ran out of bread pudding because theirs is by far the best ive had.
