The cake was fine, really sweet. However, after DD fees and tip it cost me 16 bucks. If the whole cake was a pie chart for what you would do with a million dollars, they gave me the donate it to charity slice. Next time I would like the "keep it" slice.

Very very small portions for what you pay. We ordered similar from a different local business the night before and much larger portions.

The slices are way too small for the price. They are much thinner than they appear to be in the photos.

Super disappointing. The cake was incredibly dry and paired with icing that was sickeningly sweet. Both slices (Smith Island Red Velvet Cakes Slice and Smith Island Original Cakes Slice) were tossed in the trash after we tried them.
I gave an extra star for packaging though. My dasher was brutal with my items, but the cake handled the trip beautifully.

I ordered a few different desserts to try, and while the flavors were mostly good, the cake itself seemed to be on the dry side and those that had strawberry or lemon filling the texture of the curd was off-putting and grainy/gelatinous. The strawberry cake was still a bit frozen in the center when it arrived.
