Great Chocolate Shake to start off a chilly Sunday morning.
The Big Breakfast® with Muffin was filling, as anticipated!
Bonus was a FREE Sausage McMuffin® with Egg. Score! (Our order was over a certain price point, so the SMcM w/Egg was free.)
A BIG Thank You to the staff at McDonald's this morning for including all the condiments, napkins, etc, that we forgot to ask for. Thank you.
iAnd last, but not least, a shout-out to Dasher Blanca who got our food here while it was still hot and cold, depending on which was appropriate!

OK, must admit to being a Quarter Pounder With Cheese fanatic. So it was great and the Coke was cold (as it should be), but the Fries were cold and that is just not acceptable. That is probably not the fault of the Staff and Management of the local McDonald's. Instead we suspect it was the failure or oversight of the Dasher. We request our doorbell be rung so we can get the food while still hot. So we got a text instead of following our request as clearly stated on the order.
Anyhow, we get a Quarter Pounder with Cheese craving occasionally and it is nice that can we get it delivered. So despite the cold fries, we still give the meal a 5-star rating. We want to see our local businesses survive and thrive. (And we aren't even members of the Chamber of Commerce, we just want to support local businesses and the Willitsians who own or manage or work for them.)
And once again we commend the way in which our meal was bagged-up so everything was hygienic and more-or-less spill-proof. We give McDonald's bonus points for how they bag up the orders for their Door Dash customers.

We like our local businesses and the people who make them special. McDonald's is one of our favorites because of their fast response, excellent packaging, and customer service...and we like fast food to be fast and it is from our local McDonald's thanks to the management and staff and the Dashers. Happy Thanksgiving (soon) to our local McDonald's.

Other Half here, to do a review of McDonald's because The Better Half (my wife) has been out of town for awhile tending to a sick relative. I am trying to tidy up the house before she returns today or she will be in a tizzy over how messy I can get things in just 3 days. Anyhow, back to the review of McDonalds.
The McDonald's Daily Double® is probably pretty close to being a smaller version of a Quarter Pounder once I get done modifying it. But as a former aircraft engineer (plastic model airplanes), I feel the need to engineer everything---even fast food. But I gotta say, once that bag from McD's arrived with that burger and fries, I was in cholesterol heaven. Oh my goodness, how I enjoyed that Daily Double® and the French Fries!
Hankering for a midday treat? Try this great burger and get fries and/or a beverage to go with it and you will be satiated until dinner.
