Food was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Wings are tender, not tough & they come with fries that are fresh & crispy with the right amount of seasoning. Fish was seasoned just right. Mac & cheese was creamy & the greens were outstanding. Potato salad & deviled eggs were great as well. This is what I'm looking for when I want some soul food. You get a great portion for the price! Everything was cooked to order. Would definitely order again & recommend to others!!!

Honest review. Texture of chicken and fish was fine but had no flavor. The fried chicken that is pictured is not what you receive, it's 3 small wings. Macaroni and cheese is a no. Yams a no. Greens are okay. Plenty of room for improvement. A little seasoning would go a long way.

I really love greens and cabbage and the greens were bland with no seasonings and it tasted like it has spinach in it my chicken was gooey could have been cooked longer and my fries were soft with grease I'm sorry I wouldnt order again very sad about my experience

The soul plate was advertised as fried chicken but they were three tiny chicken wings breaded with fish batter. I didn't even get my garlic bread that was advertised with the meal.

I don't leave too many reviews, but this food really does taste like Mama's home cookin'. It tastes like you fixed a plate at the get together.and the seasonings taste unique too. I'm really glad this place is on the Wrest Side. FINALLY, we have real soul food cooking over here.
