We always get 2 of the 25lb. Sunflower Hearts bird seed. It's the Best for no-mess. Whatever falls to the ground gets eaten by other birds or squirrels.
The store is FABULOUS!
It's filled with a huge variety of different kinds of bird and dog foods. Gorgeous bird houses & bird baths. Their upstairs is filled with beautiful Yard Art & other adornments.
The owner and staff are very knowledgeable about everything in their store and suggestions for anything you might need!

We buy the 20lb. bags of shelled sunflower hearts.
The small song birds seem to really appreciate not having to work to get food. The added bonus is that we don't have messy sunflower shells all over the ground. The people at Newtown feed and supplies store are very friendly and helpful.
We usually go through 40lbs of this bird food a month in the winter. We put out extra feeders, each one specific for smaller birds & larger birds, so everyone gets to eat-lol.
