It was so good! My partner and I love Nubo! We often go to the tapas bar which has a similar menu. 11/10. the Salmon Nigiri was fresh and the Tempura Bowl was perfectly crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant and it's sister restaurants.

Paper-thin tiny pieces of smoked salmon on the Philly Roll, could barely taste it. I do like that it has asparagus, but it seems like every time I get this roll there's less and less salmon on it. The rice could've been cooked a little more, too. I'll probably order it one more time to see if it's any different next time.

I enjoyed the rolls, though the Philly Roll was a little disappointing this time. They really skimped out on the salmon, just a paper-thin layer barely covering the top. Nubo's Philly roll is usually one of my favourite Philadelphia roll because it has asparagus and both cucumber and avocado-usually in equal proportions--but this time it was mostly cucumber, like it was filler, and the asparagus spear was super tiny. For the price of the roll, I was disappointed in the quality, like they were being cheap with the ingredients. They also barely gave any ginger this time. The Avocado Roll was good as usual and I'll likely order them both again. Hopefully next time it's better.

Only received 2 pieces for Hamachi Toro Sashimi, the pieces are thick cut and not very tender/melty like I would expect with hamachi. The Ichiban Ramen is good, tasty broth with chewy noodles and lots of toppings - not entirely traditional . The ramen was good value, the hamachi seems expensive for what it was.

The most overpriced and disappointing sushi we have had in Victoria. Tried ten roles, each was worse than the last. & we got two tiny pieces of salmon sashimi that weren't sliced well. Shockingly bad.
