I recently placed an order from Pizza Hut through DoorDash, and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the Big Dinner Box, which included two medium-sized pizzas and one pasta, along with an extra pasta portion.
The two medium pizzas seemed more like smalls. One was supposed to have pepperoni and the other sausage, but I received two plain cheese pizzas instead. The oven-baked Italian meat pasta had almost no red sauce, was overly al dente, and very dry, with minimal parmesan. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken, which was included with the pizzas, was also very disappointing. It lacked the expected creaminess and cheesy silkiness, and was very dry, as if it had been sitting out for too long.
The extra pasta portion, which cost nearly ten dollars, came in a very small container, more suitable for a small portion rather than a medium. The value did not match the price, especially when compared to places like Olive Garden, where portions are more generous.
On a positive note, whoever takes the pictures for the menu deserves a raise. They do a fantastic job making the food look far better than it actually is.
I don't know what happened to Pizza Hut, but back in the day, they made a better pizza than they do now. Nowadays, I would recommend Little Caesars over them any day, if it wasn't for their longer delivery times.
Overall, the quality of the meal did not justify the cost. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Pizza Hut. The pasta, in particular, was a zero out of ten.
