i love Pollo Loco! The food is always AMAZING! The mexican street corn is the best ive ever had. Hands down beats evey other place in taste and by far in price.

The BBQ platter was extremely underwhelming for the price. 3 small ribs, a small portion of fries and a condiment cup of black beans
No excitement for the Family Tamales either. The masa was bland and no salsas were provided

First time ordering for the family from here and Wow! Everything was Outstanding!! We had the char-grilled Whole Sinaloa Chicken (amazing flavor!) and Full Ribs (falling off the bone) with sides of rice and plantains (yum!) . My young adult kids loved it!! The flavor, large portion sizes, and the reasonable prices have made this our new #1 favorite place!! We'll be regulars!! Don't change a thing!!

Sort of mixed review here. I ordered a bbq meal that said it came with ribs and they sent chicken. Which was flavorful, but not what I ordered. On the other hand, the tostones and yucca it came with were both incredibly dry, entirely bland, and hard to chew. So that entire $17 platter was kind of a bust. I also ordered coconut milk, and was sent horchata. Weirdly enough though, the tamales were EXCELLENT. Both the pork and the chicken (though I preferred the pork). These are the only thing I would order from here again.

I've ordered here before and the food portions were very large. Around the 3rd or 4th time that I ordered, the portions were extremely small. No one wants to spend $5 for maduros ( Sweet plantain ) only to have a handful. I can buy them at the store and have 4 times the amount for the price of theirs. The food did taste good which is why I gave 3 stars. The portions are inconsistent. Chicken platter was tasty, but I received a small leg and a small thigh. The rice wasn't full inside the platter box and the beans you receive come in a small container that is usually used for extra sauce.
