Puertos is my favorite Mexican restaurant in bowling green, and the IS special is the best basic dish. They do arroz con pollo y queso the best.

The food taste would be great IF it all had been hot! Or even warm! The only item hot was the baked potato. Weird since we live about a half mile or less from a Puerto's location. Steak was very tender & moist, however that's not hard to do when it's maybe 1/4 inch thick! For the price it was very good! The Chimichanga had the perfect taste & texture of deep fried tortilla & decent amount of seasoned ground beef! Another teaspoon or tablespoon of queso on top would have made it 10/10! I didn't see on the menu that the Chimichanga came with rice & cheese, refried beans, pico de gallo & guacamole. If I had I wouldn't have wasted food by ordering a side of beans. And would've wanted to remove the quac, pico & sour cream! Love sour cream, but not on a Chimichanga. Hopefully next time it won't take over 30 minutes & will be hot!

Nachos with Ground Beef were delicious and a good price, plenty of beef and cheese. the Cheese and Chicken Quesadilla however was soggy and flavorless, don't recommend

Everything was delicious. Always a favorite place to eat. portions are always great for the price. they always do their best to get your order correct. and the food is fresh and hot. 10/10 recommend.

Salsa tasted like straight tomatoes. No garlic or onions flavors. Could have added a little more refried beans. Chimichanga didn't look like it did in the photos either. Half the size. I'm not sure if order again. Was fresh I guess that's a plus.
