The carne Giant Carne Asada Burrito was so good and had no fillers like other Mexican shops have (like beans or rice). Just meat, guac, and pico. Reminded me of what I grew up with in San Diego. The portions were huge and the salsas were so fresh and delicious!! I can't wait to order again. I got four tacos as well: Adobada Taco, Lengua Taco,Pollo Asado Taco , Fish Taco . I can't decide which was best! Added a [12oz) Guacamole and got $5 off for a total of $30! How have I not heard of this place before?! I never leave good reviews so trust me. Next time I'm eating there.

The Giant Patrón Burrito was so good! Food arrived still hot. Tortilla was really good. I loved the Apple churro as well. My only complaint although a big one, It was a crazy price for a little side of [12oz] Sour Cream. It was definitely NOT 12oz and if i had known it was a tiny side cup for 7 dollars there is absolutely no way I would have paid for it. So not worth it. Really disappointing. Good thing the food was tasty.

You need to try Rómulo's. Best bang for your buck your buck, huuuuge portions and absolutely delicious. So fresh and will order again and again!

Generally I've liked this place, but today the fish tacos were more fishy than they should be. I also ordered the Pollo asado ( grilled chicken) and the menu looks like a bowl or salad. It came in a tortilla and extremely bland. No avocado or black beans either. It said ranch on the side, but there was a bland white sauce inside (did not taste like ranch). Not even edible (I gave the chicken pieces to my dog). I also specifically asked for 3 sides of green sauce and there was none. The Horchata looks like chocolate milk it has so much cinnamon. Overall not good today.

Rómulo’s Mexican Grill has some of the most authentic and flavorful Mexican food I’ve had. You can really taste the tradition, especially knowing the owner is Mexican. The service is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a great spot if you want real, high-quality Mexican food.
