• 9/13/24Quantity of chicken has been suddenly reduced substantially. It's now a $20 bowl of mostly rice . Not at all value for money. Used to be much more generous with the protein earlier.

• 6/19/25Not sure if this Roots Flavored Teas is supposed to be slightly carbonated but it is and is expired by 5 days so i am wondering if it has started to ferment so i do not recommend. I do recommend the El Jefe bowl though because its delicious

• 6/3/26El Jefe is excellent. its delicious and the ingredients taste fresh and high quality. i was here for work for 10 days and the food from Roots was so much better than anything else I ate

• 8/30/25I order the Mayweather all the time, but lately, it's been lacking consistency. Tonight, it was in a small bowl not the large bowl as it normally comes in (since it's a salad). Feeling a bit disappointed.
