Signature Double Hamburger has great flavor. Only issue has been our orders always have a little something wrong. A missing item, missing topping, etc. But the food itself has been nice.

The burger tastes like a cheap product. I thought by adding extra cheese to it would make it taste good, but I was wrong. Adding more bad quality cheese on top of bad quality cheese inside a low quality burger does not enhance the burger's flavor. How is it that Au Cheval and Small Cheval are so far away from each other in terms of taste and quality!!!

Signature Double Cheeseburger did not taste as good as Wicker Park location. Golden Fries were cold and had no salt. Garlic aioli was in a tiny cup filled up a quarter of the way and lasted for seven fries. Disappointing!

I had heard a lot about this place and finally decided to try it. After getting it, I'm not sure what the fuss was about.
The Single Cheeseburger burger patty is just about the same size as a McD's regular burger patties. It's relatively unseasoned and quite bland. The Famous Fried Chicken Tenders aren't bad, but they aren't anything special. Same with the Golden Fries. The BBQ sauce is just Sweet Baby Ray's cups. The Chocolate Shake was thick, but it was a rather odd chocolate flavor. I guess some might prefer it, but it was different enough that if I didn't know I ordered chocolate, I might have thought it was a different flavor.
There are tons of places where you can get much better for less.

This place has gone downhill since it's expansion. The quality of the meat is still good, but wow are those patties small. They are so small they are absolutely drowning in the bun. It really is a sad looking burger. I miss their fun dips. I paid extra for ranch and was given Hidden Valley. Hard pass next time. Not worth the price.
