• 4/21/23The Shelton location is much better than New Haven. The carne mechada was very salty today and they really skimped on the toppings (barely any arugula and sauce).

• 4/1/25When prepared well, this place is awesome! We love the bowls and the arepas. Unfortunately, on numerous occasions, including today, our beans have arrived undercooked to the point of being crunchy in spots, and the rice has previously arrived in a similar condition.

• 2/24/26We normally love Somos but today the carnitas was dried out, over cooked and tasteless. Definitely not as good as usual.

• 10/25/25This was not good at all. The chicken was undercooked (looked pink) and the plate was flavorless. Very disappointing.
