I picked up my order instead of having it delivered, and from the moment I walked in, I had a great experience. I was greeted right away with a warm, enthusiastic welcome, and everyone was incredibly kind. The restaurant was clearly well cared for. While I waited, I noticed someone deep cleaning the dining room, and the kitchen had a wonderful sense of teamwork, with an experienced cook guiding a younger team member. It felt like a place that genuinely takes pride in both its food and its community.
Now for the meal…wow. The fried chicken wings were outstanding. They were perfectly crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Every bite was delicious. The mac and cheese completely surprised me. It was creamy, well seasoned, and had a unique blend of flavors unlike any mac and cheese I’ve had before, in the best possible way. It was clearly homemade and absolutely unforgettable.
The candied yams were delightful. Sweet, rich, and full of flavor, they were almost like eating dessert alongside my meal. The cornbread had a wonderful flavor and was the perfect addition to the plate.
The portions were generous, and the meal also included a drink, making it an incredible value for what you receive. Every single item tasted like it was made with care and intention. This was one of the best soul food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be recommending this place to friends and family.

My first time eating here and it was amazing. Smothered Chicken & Rice was probably my favorite. Nice size portion and a whole chicken breast that I could use my fork to pull apart n eat.Corn Bread was soft and moist, very good. then I had some mac n cheese and greens that also was very good. I couldn't stop eating it was that good. everything was very flavorful. i didn't have to add any seasoning. the picture doesn't do it justice, I mixed the chicken in the rice. definitely will be ordering again and now is my go to from now on for soul food. can't wait to try the chicken wings.

Really picky about whose soul food I eat but the food was well seasoned . I was skeptical about the greens but it's about time somebody used onions in their collard greens . you can taste the onion powder and garlic powder in them . The Mac n cheese was not to Cheesy but not dry at all . I give it a 9/10 for a $20 meal . Thank you ! Will order again .

Catfish and Wings were amazing! Egg Roll was delicious and crunchy, wish it came with sauce though!!! Kool Aid- was tropical punch, 10/10- super good! Portion size was good! I would definitely order everything again! Everything was FRESH & CRUNCHY!

Loved all of it. Smothered chicken & Rice Soul Food Comb was amazing! Chicken was soft and tender to the point i can just shred it with the fork given. Sauce were creamy and delightful. Rice was plentiful and cooked perfectly. Only issue i have is just with the spaghetti as it just wasn't for me. But otherwise Pizza Puff were an amazing delight and will definitely order this all again!
