Oh my goodness, Oh my got dern goodness simply delicious. The food was totally on point. Fish is well seasoned and crisp, and the filets were thick. The cabbage was so good and seasoned to the 10th degree. The spaghetti, my my,my meaty seasoned just plain good. The green beans seasoned well also. Now, the servings took the meals over the top. You definitely, without a doubt, get your money worth. Don't let me forget the cornbread it was so delightful to eat. Thank you

The only good, tasty, flavorful thing on the plate was the shrimp. Everything else, I took 1-2 bites, then threw them away. The chicken, pork chop, and fish were unseasoned, and the pork chop was tough. The catfish was also unseasoned and thick and dense. I'm 68 yo and have eaten lots of fried catfish in my life. It's always been of a delicate, soft flesh. This was weird. Shrimp and veggies were really good though. Cost too much money to have to throw away all that meat.

When I say I was extremely satisfied a 10 was the best lunch Fried Pork Chops Dinner everything was seasoned and well balanced and morethan enough the cornbread was delicious omg thankyou will be ordering again!

Wow, second time ordering from this restaurant. Everything was absolutely amazing.Nice portion sizes and seasoned well. If you are a non pork eater like me, their CabbageCollard Greens are both without it, which is rare. The Side Catfishand Side Wings are fresh and thick cut, true Catfish! Yams and Mac and Mac & Cheese so delicious.
I highly recommend them if you want some good soul food. Only con, sleepy and full lol

It seems there has been a change here because my food was excellent this time. I'm so glad I decided to try again. The Fried Catfish Dinner was fried soft like I prefer and it wasn't salty. The yams were not too sweet and they weren't dry/ pastey. And the greens were tender and flavorful. My husband said the same about his Salmon Bites Dinner. When this restaurant first opened we were regulars and then the food quality kind of fell off over time. The last time we visited we were at the restaurant and decided it might be the last time -- it just wasn't the same. Again, I'm so glad we tried again. The food was excellent!
