โข 5/13/22The butter chicken was so flavorful and delicious. Heaps of chicken within the little bowl I ordered. The basmati rice was made fresh. The garlic naan was toasted to perfection with plenty of garlic like I prefer. I also ordered gulab jamun which was just delicious, dense syrupy sweet. Perfect lunch!

โข 4/5/26Always the best around ๐ The Butter Chicken is aways tender, fresh, and robust with flavor. The sauce is extra creamy and smooth. I also love how it's not a heavy tomato based sauce like some places rely on. This is a mh better butter sauce than most.

โข 3/3/26I have been going to Sunlight for Indian food for years, and I am never disappointed! I am a super fan of everything I have tried. Sometimes I just want the comfort favorites of rice, butter chicken, naan, korma, and mango lassi and sometimes it's all about trying new things, but every time the food is fresh, hot and delicious. When inside the restaurant, the service is fantastic, the staff are friendly, and the dishes are appetizing. I just ordered delivery for the first time through DoorDash. The store is around 25 minutes from my house, and the delivery took 50 minutes from ordering to receiving the meal. Perfectly acceptable. The food was in containers that were saran wrapped to avoid spilling and also helped keep the food warm. There was no ice in the lassi, so it didn't get watered down, which was much appreciated! I think Sunlight is the best Indian food you can get near Modesto. It is worth the drive, and if you are unable, the delivery option works just fine.

โข 3/28/26Hands down the best Indian food I've tasted in the area. The food is always fresh, hot and flavorful. I love the Butter Chicken Garlic Naan Butter Naan and Basmati Rice. The cooks never disappoint. Couldn't recommend it more. I'll be a long customer ๐
