No ice in drink, no salsa, soggy and Blackened Chicken Burrito had little chicken. It was all cabbage. Too expensive to have this many issues.
But, the chips and guacamole was great. The Blackened Chicken Burrito also had a homemade tortilla which is nice , and tastes great.
Taco Mesa has good food and is a good place to eat but today wasn't their best showing.

I really want to like this place as when thee food is good it's really good, but when it's bad it's really bad. I have had the Enchiladas Oaxaca a few times. The first time it was okay, the second time it was amazing. I mean really good. The third time absolutely horrible. The Taquito (Oversized) were completely different than usual and different from the picture and were a greasy mess. The Taco Shredded Beef in this order hardly had anything in them at all. Again this place can be really good or really bad and you never know what you are going to get. Unfortunately I was looking forward to my meal and was disappointed. I knew it was a risk and that is on me, but for now Taco Mesa , is a no go. I have never seen a restaurant have this much inconsistency. I guess it just depends on who's in the kitchen.

I've been ordering the same burrito for over 10 years at least. So I was shocked to find spicy peppers and onions inside making it so I cannot eat this burrito. It's my favorite burrito in Orange County until now. If you can handle spice, it's fine but if you can't then make sure you ask for no peppers jalapeños.
