The Hummingbird Roll and the Popcorn Scallop
are amazing!! The Teriyaki Chicken Entree was quality cuts grilled to perfection with a tasty sauce and fresh steamed rice, just delicious!

The Horchata was an immediate let down. Tasted like nothing but water. The Sweet Hawaiian roll was alright. Nothing special. The Large Poki bowl was a huge let down. It was filling because of the amount of rice they threw in, but very small amounts of toppings. I asked for spicy, and didn't satisfy. Way too pricey for the overall quality of the food.

Owner or Manager was very rude. Sushi was ok.. Gyoza was cold and gross. Vegetable Tempura was insulting. $10 for sweet potato and onion rings that didnt even fill half a small box... Not enough Soy sauce even though I said I was at the hospital and needed extra sauce. Not even bust for Valentina day.. I wish I would have drivenfurther for the better review.

Rice was somewhat hard. It felt like little pieces of plastic inside my mouth. The overall taste was ok, but nothing spectacular. I stopped going to Taiyo's some time back and decided to try again. Asahi or Okoku is a better choice.

I was disappointed by my order. It didn't seem fresh, like it had been made earlier in the day and sat in a refrigerator. the Salmon Lover roll was suppose to have sauces on it but did not and no sauce was provided. also there was no ginger or wasabi provided. This could.be a one off instance because I have been eat here for years and will try again.
