I tried Tamale Boy for the first time last week and really enjoyed it! The tamales were HUGE, moist, and flavorful. The side of rice I got was your standard Mexican rice, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of their refried beans - you could really taste smoky pork and onions, which made the beans stand out. I'll definitely order from Tamale Boy again.

The Tamalito de Rajas con Pollo with a side of sour cream delivers the same incredible burst of flavor every single time. It’s one of those dishes you keep coming back for because it’s consistently delicious!
And the nachos… or as we like to call them… OMG, the SUPER Nachos! 🤤 Simply fantastic! If you’re ordering delivery, do yourself a favor and get the chips on the side so they stay perfectly crisp. Totally worth it! #portlandfoodslut is definitely going to post about this

Love their tamales. We have tried most of them and most have been excellent. Only one that was just alright is the chicken tinga simply because the chicken is dry with not enough sauce to make up for it. Tamales are a great price too.
Four stars only because not everything on their menu is worth the cost. The higher priced items have not been worth it based on size, simplicity and overall taste.
Recommend just getting their tamales if nothing else.
