Was craving a classic chicken salad sandwich, and Tartine did not disappoint. It had generous, pleasantly-seasoned chicken salad with lots of fresh greens and cucumber on very fresh bread. The optional side coleslaw was fresh and crunchy with a light, slightly creamy dressing. And don't sleep on the butter tarts, they are a small but delightful indulgence as good as the best homemade.

The Turkey Delight Sandwich was indeed delightful, very fresh, with house-roasted turkey (not cold cut!). The Mini Egg Sandwich had a tasty, comforting filling, but the bun, although large, was disappointingly leathery. Butter Tart is a reliable bite of Canadiana. The Flourless Carrot Cake was a bit gritty; not for me.

I ordered the Havarti Sandwich and the Ham and Havarti Sandwich. Both were fresh and delicious. The lettuce was crispy, the tomatoes perfectly ripe and sweet, not mushy or tasteless.
The Havarti was wonderfully creamy and the ham was very high quality, clean tasting - highly elevated beyond your typical Deli meat. The apparent simplicity of the sandwich allows the flavour of each delectable ingredient to shine through, making each bite perfectly delicious. The multigrain bread was an ideal vessel for the fillings. Healthy but not overly heavy, it tasted freshly baked that day. The amount of fillings was generous and the bread not overly thick so I didn't feel like I was eating a bread sandwich. I order from here anytime I have a sandwich craving. I have also ordered the daily soup which has always been very fresh and flavourful. The cookies are a tasty and satisfying treat. Also light but flavourfull, not overly greasy or heavy. My only wish is that they would expand their delivery menu to include more baked goods like bread and muffins.

Best shepherd’s pie I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, the pies are so small. Butter tarts are delicious! Sandwiches are filled with plenty of greens.

I keep going back and order the same sandwiches. The Classic Egg Salad Sandwich and Maple Ham and Havarti were delicious.
Tartine goes above and beyond with freshness and respecting the additional requests.
