• 9/10/25The Premium Futomaki is very disappointing for the price. It was all little pieces of fish (it almost looked like end pieces and not at all like the photo provided when ordering). It also wasn't as fresh tasting as the other two items we ordered.
The Sunomono is always a favourite and is always made well and so fresh.
The Sashimi Sushi Combo was perfect in flavour and freshness.

• 1/13/26The Tuna Bomb was a stand-out with good flavour and an addicting texture to the rice (although the mince size on the tuna could be more consistent.) The Inari Nigiri may have a custom marinade as I tasted notes of fresh ginger and sesame - Tozen's version was a level up from other restaurants I have tried. The Miso Soup was as expected. The Okonomiyaki was mostly little squid tentacles; I didn't perceive much other seafood, but it was nice enough - like home cooking style.

• 12/13/24Similar to their sister restaurant Tom sushi, they start very strong and then they start slipping on the quality.
I suspect it's intentional and part of the business model. With Tom sushi we gave feedback and saw no improvement after three or four more orders and then made a full stop with supporting their business.
After eating unsalted extremely greasy tempura, uni that tasted off and a sloppily crafter tuna avo roll I think I can see where this is heading and we'll find a new place.
