First time ordering from this restaurant. Order was completed quickly. The fried chicken was crispy, not greasy, and tasted great. My kids said the waffles were good, and they can be picky. That said, they sell the cornbread per piece at $1.07, and I was taken aback by the tiny single little muffin. Makes sense for the price I suppose, but I wish they'd sell them in quantities that make more sense (even at a higher price). I didn't expect it to not come with gravy for some reason (as it's made in our experience). It did come with bbq sauce and a tasty honey mustard.

The five piece chicken and waffle was perfect for my daughter and I to share. Excellent southern style chicken! Very flavorful and moist and cooked thoroughly. The waffle came crispy versus soggy after transporting. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Both the Hash Browns and the home fries were generous portions and well-cooked. The taste was perfect and not overly crispy. The Sampler is the best breakfast order to get a little bit of everything savory and sweet. It's what I order over and over fro breakfast

Everything I ordered was AMAZING. The food was seasoned and prepared perfectly. The Mac n cheese and yams were so delicious. I also had the fried shrimp, and I loved the breading. The mambo and yellow sauce were so good that I saved the rest that I didn't use with my meal. I'm from the Deep South and this is the food I've been missing ever since I moved to DC.

Now this was amazing chicken and waffle!! I say was because I completely devoured it!! I ready to make another order but i am full to the brim!! More than enough food for one day!! Fried to perfection and throughly cooked!! This is a must!!
