Yojimbo is my favorite Japanese spot in Alameda. The salmon teriyaki is my go-to, and the deep fried rolls are so so tasty. They serve huge portions and it's consistently delicious.

The love I have for Yojimbo! My go to items are the Gyoza appetizer, Miso soup, multiple orders of the Sake Nigiri, and the Salmon Avocado Maki roll + mango as an add on (super simple but the most tastiest roll I've had). Did I forget to mention that the spicy tuna roll has an upgraded spicy sauce now and it's amazing. The workers there are always super nice, fast and efficient. Will always be a returning customer. Thanks for keeping the business running and having amazing food.

I'm never dissatisfied because the food here is always fresh. The workers there are always nice, fast and very efficient.

The Mad Max is so delicious! Yojimbo always sends sushi fresh and gets the order and any specifications right. Will always order from here!

I'm so sad to write this review as me and my daughter have been coming here for years! Tonight the Red Dragon roll did not taste fresh and instead of the regular usually delicious spicy tuna there was chili paste mushed on top, I couldn't even eat it, I then tried my daughter bento box, the salmon teriyaki was very fishy and the salad tasted like it had been in the fridge for weeks. I'm dissatisfied and saddened as our monthly tradition of sushi will have to be moved to a new Japanese restaurant. I can't believe I spent $50 and couldn't eat half the food.
