• 1/22/25Best Teriyaki I've personally had in my life. Chicken was tender and charred perfectly. The sauce was immaculate. The salad added the greens needed for the plate and paired well with the ranch provided. Kudos to who made this dish. 10/10 would order again.

• 1/15/26Yummy Teriyaki is my go-to late-night Seattle comfort food. By the time I finish business it’s usually after 10pm, and this place always comes through. The tofu is perfectly crispy, the sauce is rich and addictive, and the portions are generous enough to fuel me straight back to my hotel in a happy food coma.

• 7/21/23I have enjoyed joy teriyaki for the last few years from where I used to live in southwest Washington. This was the first time I ordered from this seattle location and although everything was very yummy, im very disappointed in the amount of curry I got with my Chicken Katsu with Curry I got like a 1/4 of a cup and the upgrade from the normal chicken katsu to the one with curry is like a good six bucks...so I paid for a quarter cup of curry for that amount? I used to get a lot more at the location I used to go to. Oh well. Food is still yummy.

• 4/19/23Shrimp Fried Rice was a bit pricey. Chicken Yakisoba was nothing special. Kids liked the Gyozas. Rainbow roll was sweet but small for the price. Good for takeout, a little spendy for what it is though.

• 10/10/24I can't believe it's taken me so long to simply give my kudos to Yummy as I've been ordering from here a few times a month for the past few years. I am sorry for that delay!
I'm giving 5 stars all around for a few reasons:
I've been on a hunt for a long while learning the quirks and awesomes of many Seattle Teriyaki spots, but Yummy's is my favorite time and time again. The cut of chicken, and especially their Spicy Teriyaki sauce, still reign supreme. Very rarely (and after hundreds of doordash orders) does the Chicken Teriyaki come subpar - and if it ever was it was because of long delivery times due to my location, or the rare occasion they didn't dress the Chicken Teriyaki in the spicy sauce and put it on the side.
My only quirk is with the Edamame - I incessantly get it because, when well steamed, it's a perfect appetizer - especially with the Spicy sauce. However, most of the time it comes tough and over-steamed and is always undressed. Honestly, this has been the only fair gripe I would give as of late.
I also see the Edamame is only available for order via DoorDash. Overcooked and undressed Edamame is not a deal breaker, however, and really hard to make inedible - especially coupled with their amazing Spicy Teriyaki sauce. I've eaten this delivery so much that I feel I needed to be even keeled about this review with a short criticism, but know I will forever keep getting these dishes until the world ends.
