• 8/14/22Z&Y really steps up the standard for Sichuan cuisine!! The chef knows what they're doing.
For me, most of the time mapo tofu dishes in SF are meh but this MaPo tofu was FANTASTIC. On point flavor and sauce and texture -- pairs beautiful over rice.
Everything else was fantastic too. I enjoyed some classic Sichuan dishes like their Twice Cooked Pork, Spicy Cauliflower in Mini Flaming Pot, and Dry Sauteed Green Beans.

Have to the say the *Spicy Prawns in Clay Pot 麻辣香鍋蝦 is over priced for just 7 shrimps. Should just add more. The flavor is indeed amazing.

• 11/29/24Vegetable Fired Rice 素炒飯 too good. Cashew Nut Chicken 腰果雞片 its nice. Princess Chicken Wings 干烹雞翅 it's all good but they should have the sauce in the side. if you want your chkn nice and crispy. overall, still one of the best restaurants in San Francisco.

• 12/14/21Oh man where do I start! This place is my all time favorite Chinese restaurant I've had in the US. Every single thing here is delicious and you can't go wrong. Their spicy boiled fish, explosive chili chicken, cumin lamb, Ma Po Tofu, Chinese Cabbage, Pancake with Beef, Dan Dan Noodle.... Expensive but IMO worth it.

• 9/8/25The Chicken with Explosive Chili Pepper 飄香辣子雞 was good, but a little over salty - excellent bits of pepper tongue numbness - would order again but needs steamed rice (or other) to counter balance the salty, but doesn't come with the $25 serving apparently...
