We tried a new place for lunch today.
- Zelayas ! We had the Chicken Empanadas, Prepared Zambos, Esquites -absolutely FANTASTIC! Let me just say I was amazed at the price for the quality/quantity of the food.
Large servings!
For desert we tried Banana pudding, Chocolate Flan, Brownie cheesecake and a cupcake! Delicious 😋 We will definitely be adding this one to our rotation.

Watermelon Natural drink was absolutely amazing. Tastes like I'm drinking from a literal watermelon. It's soo good! Strawberry Shortcake was so delicious. They were NOT greedy with the strawberries. This place really came through! Definitely hit the spot and settled my sweet tooth. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

I have loved eating here as I love Honduran food and miss being there. However, the most recent experience I had with my food was horrible. I ordered the Honduran breakfast and the scrambled eggs were barely warm, the refried beans were ice cold, and the mantequilla and cheese containers were shoved and smashed into the refried beans. This caused them to be covered in refried beans and even the packaging for the corn tortillas had refried beans all over it.
The other issue was the fact that in the past when I've ordered the Banana Pudding / Budin De Banano it is in a large container and filled. This time I received it in a smaller container and it was so much vanilla wafers and barely any pudding. It was very disappointing especially when it cost over $7.

I'm working my way through their entire menu , and I've yet to try something I dont like. It's always quick, good portions, and GOOD! My go-to place for a sweet treat, and their food food is amazing as well. Personal favorites are the fruit concha, dulce de leche horn, and the empanadas!

I recently visited Zalaya's Bakery and had a delightful experience. I initially ordered a vanilla cupcake, which was moist, flavorful, and simply delicious. Although the gluten-free fruit tart was out of stock, the staff kindly offered me a selection of macarons and pavlova instead, both of which were exquisite. What impressed me and my husband the most was their amazing and considerate staff and incredibly delicious gluten-free options, making our visit truly enjoyable. We'll definitely be returning for more treats! If you have any hesitation about ordering from this bakery, let this review sway you into making the best and most delicious decision; go and try everything here! You won't regret it!
