(Frankly, I wish there was a feature on DoorDash that would let customers modify their orders of nachos to say "no chicken" (there is a screen where customers can modify the nachos, but leaving the chicken off. "I hadn’t eaten at Taqueria Flores in years, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, I should have trusted my gut and saved my $40.
I ordered the tostadas, the crunchy taco special, and queso. I only wanted bean tostadas, but the order required me to select a protein, so I chose chicken. I even picked the food up myself, thinking that would ensure the tostadas and tacos were fresh and crunchy. I live only about four minutes away, but by the time I got home, everything was already soggy.
The tostadas had very little flavor and seemed to have more tomatoes and cheese than lettuce. The “crunchy” tacos were just as disappointing—they were soggy rather than crisp and lacked flavor as well.
The queso was another disappointment. It tasted sour and was surprisingly bland, with very little of the rich, cheesy flavor you expect from good queso. Between the soggy food and the sour-tasting queso, there really wasn’t anything about the meal that I enjoyed.
Both the tacos and tostadas were part of a buy-one-get-one-free special, but unfortunately, getting twice as much disappointing food didn’t make it a better deal.
Next time, I’ll stick with the food truck near Exxon. Their tacos and tostadas are made to order, fresh, crunchy, and packed with flavor. I really wanted to enjoy Taqueria Flores again, but this experience was a disappointment and definitely not worth the $40 I spent."

"Keeping it very simple, our 2nd time to order. . We never experienced a Mexican food place that you have to pay for chips and salsa. The guac was just avocado smashed & the queso was again bland. Did not Taste like queso. The fajita quesadillas were ok For us it's just not what we have experienced in Mexican restaurants.  Maybe the 2 times we ordered the kitchen was having off days. So good wishes and positivity for the Mexican food store going forward."

"Awesome food! One of the best burgers in Houston. Haven't ordered from them in a while because we moved to the other side of town and were trying out all the other spots around but after ordering again we remembered why they were one of our favorite places in Houston.
The crazy burger was perfect, a gigantic burger of well seasoned meat with bacon and all the toppings and with lots of great sauce on top, highly recommended.
The fish sandwich was great, pickles and sauce and perfectly fried fish. The buffalo chicken wrap was excellent, smothered in buffalo sauce with ranch and mayo and all the toppings.
This time we tried the Cajun wings and they are so good, they actually look just like the advertised pictures, nice and crispy outside, tender meat, no grease or anything like that at all and with great ranch dip.
We always get an order of chili cheese fries and they were so good as usual, smothered in tons of sauce and chili not just a light drizzle on top like other places, this was layered goodness.
We finish it off with the Bavarian cream churro and it's always great.
Overall 9/10, they make everything great every single time we order and highly recommend them if you are looking for an amazing enormous burger, fish or chicken sandwich and some great crispy wings."
