"Perkins has always been one of my favorite breakfast places, but it's always hit and miss and more miss than anything in recent years. With iHop and other options, you'd think Perkins would be on their game. Especially, when you walk into the restaurant and there are 2 tables and they rent their kitchen out to other food companies because business is so low.
I ordered this BYOO and it's the smallest omelet I've ever had and isn't half the size of the container. The hasbrowns are full of grease and taste like they didn't clean the griddle from some other food. I never complain as I worked in restaurants for 15 years. But, for the price, this is ridiculous and I'm not happy. I just ordered this same meal and it was amazing! The size of a Build-Your-Own Omelet normally is and the hashbrowns didn't fall off my fork because of the grease. I'm so upset I paid what I did to get an Build-Your-Own Omelet that is 6 and a half bites. I'm not sure I'll return to Perkins after 40 years of it being my favorite restaurant full of wonderful family memories for me.

"The highlight of the meal was the Bourbon Peppercorn Glazed Meatloaf, more specifically the hint of heat I got from the chorizo (or honestly it could've been heat from the Bama Firecracker sauce, either way it was an appreciated add) but there wasn't a lick of bourbon glaze, so I missed out on that flavor component. I chose mashed potatoes and green beans as sides, and while the potatoes were smooth, they desperately needed salt and pepper; the butter was there, though, and it will coat your tongue (if you like that, as it was a little much for me). I enjoyed the smokiness of the bacon in the green beans, but they also lacked salt. The biggest letdown was the For the Love of Cobb (GF). You cannot use guacamole as a substitute for fresh avocado, mainly because of the texture and flavor variance.
Additionally, the tomatoes didn't taste fresh, which turned me off the dish entirely. I’m going to hit like on this order because I can't just give it an OK (as I don't necessarily hate it, but there are enough negatives that a like doesn't feel fair either), but I won't be ordering from here again. Oh, the bag was secure, and everything was packed well, which is also a plus."
