"Hit or Miss with this store. I wanted to give 2 stars but Im feeling nice considering its been good in the past. Some items are great (ie: breakfast sandwiches)& some are not like the BOGO Original Chicken Sandwich as both sandwiches were overly done/old/dried out. One sandwich patty had separated & was hollow inside like a chicken-flavor breaded pita pocket & the other sandwich "patty" was actually 2 small half patty pieces, 1 fairly edible & 1 choking hazard dry. Even if I hadnt requested they'd put no mayo on, it wouldn't have helped & lettuce was severely lacking. The 2 for $5 Whopper Jr. Duo were a little better but not by much. It's like they specifically created a burger patty/bun smaller than the standard hamburger for these & barely apply any condiments. It should be called the Whopper Junior Mini. Disappointing waste of money while initially thinking you're getting a better deal considering the price of fast food these days."

"Perkins has always been one of my favorite breakfast places, but it's always hit and miss and more miss than anything in recent years. With iHop and other options, you'd think Perkins would be on their game. Especially, when you walk into the restaurant and there are 2 tables and they rent their kitchen out to other food companies because business is so low.
I ordered this BYOO and it's the smallest omelet I've ever had and isn't half the size of the container. The hasbrowns are full of grease and taste like they didn't clean the griddle from some other food. I never complain as I worked in restaurants for 15 years. But, for the price, this is ridiculous and I'm not happy. I just ordered this same meal and it was amazing! The size of a Build-Your-Own Omelet normally is and the hashbrowns didn't fall off my fork because of the grease. I'm so upset I paid what I did to get an Build-Your-Own Omelet that is 6 and a half bites. I'm not sure I'll return to Perkins after 40 years of it being my favorite restaurant full of wonderful family memories for me.

"The TRUFFLE MUSHROOM SMASH® was burnt to a crisp, the hamburger part was not edible at all so I fed it to my dog. All that I would eat was the cheese which was good and the sparse amount of mushrooms that weren't fresh. The regular smash was so good according to my granddaughter. The milkshakes were also delicious. I have noticed several times in the past that orders to go contain more mistakes.
Since I paid for the order yet couldn't eat the entree, I wouldn't be ordering again from Smash Burgers or recommending them based on my experience. I was completely disappointed in the quality of their food."
