"I just recently discovered that they serve keto style tacos. I wish I would've discovered it earlier because they are delicious. They use a paper, thin slice of grilled cheese as the shell and I love the flavor. The sad news is I've heard that they are filing for bankruptcy as a chain. I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this place.
I ordered my food online and realized after I got there that I forgot to add cheese to my tacos. No big deal—I told the guys at Tacos Mi Rey, and without hesitation they gave me a bag of cheese along with fresh toppings for my tacos. That’s the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back.
The food is always fresh, they’re fast, and they’re open late when you need them most. In my opinion, this might be the best taco spot in LA County. Skip Taco Mexico and the other spots down the street—come to Tacos Mi Rey instead.
They even have chairs outside so you can sit and enjoy your food with your family, your friends, or your lady. The place is clean, the service is excellent, and the food never disappoints.
