The Beef Fried Noodles were a huge mass of mostly bland, rather dry, gummy and greasy noodles, with not a lot of veggies or meat included. Very much not worth the $20 it cost. It was not unlike grocery store Chinese food. Only (slightly) better having been cooked fresh. The dumplings were constructed well. They had a decent flavor, albeit very plain. Mostly sweet and a little salty. But, not much character to them. Other than being made by hand, not really worth $11 for 7 of them. I've actually had more flavorful frozen ones. They may not have been freshly made, but I've had better. Nothing stood out. A little seasoning or veggies with the pork would have helped. And be warned, you have to eat them carefully. They are packed with juice. I didn't know, and the first one burst all over my clothes. Got one packet of soy sauce, no hot mustard, no fortune cookie. No happiness. First time and last time ordering from Steam and Soul."

"Ordered the mezcalluna platter to get a taste of several items. Sharing the platter with my partner, and we both were unimpressed with the entire dish. "I have come to shop here fairly often, and the 3 piece halibut (many serve cod which is nowhere near as good) is utterly delicious! Two, i have never been a big frie fan, but the garlic Parmesan fries here are the best fries i have ever had. Are very tasty! So overall this is my fav meal in town. (This and a veggie place) Two i also buy the BBQed chicken sandwich, with lots of added veggies, and it is also very good! Combined, i have a serious second meal for the next day too this way! And service is fast! Great treats for a quick and tasty meal, and cool shop. Finally rather frequent delivery discounts are a delight too! So cheers!"
"I'm a fan of the veggie black bean burger. The fries hold well and the chocolate shake was delicious. The chili cheese burger was very good but the chili seemed to be meerly pinto beans that were rather bland. That being said, we ate and drank every bite and will definitely order here again!"
