"The Saffron Joojeh Kabob (Saffron Chicken Tender Kabob) and Ravioli Di Aragosta were outstanding. Well intentioned seasoning and cook. The Traditional Persian Cake Roulette (Cake Roll) was a bit wet in the cake and it's structure wasn't full. The creme was well made though and held up to freezing/refrigeration. The Baghali Polo Mahiche (Authentic Persian Lamb Shank) was a bit over on the cook. I prefer close to rare for my lamb and have more salt to make the fat more fun to eat.
I would recommend that the restaurant provide half portions for their meals for a reduced cost for those of us that would prefer a less generous offering."
"I was in the mood to try something different tonight as found this restaurant... after some quick research I decided to try the Tahdig w Ghormeh Sabzi, Naan, and Baklava.
Unfortunately,it all ended up in the trash after two bites. Its a shame too bc I was really looking forward to trying. The Tahdig came with rice Ive never had before and hope to never again. It was practically inedible...came actually cold to the touch, pan fried until so overcooked it was like a rock and had this rancid taste. Then to add insult, a small spoon of saffron rice was added and that was cold and tasted old. HOWEVER the actual stew - Ghormeh Sabzi, has a very distinct flavor and I found it interesting and tasty BUT due to the horrible rice, I only took a bite bc I couldn't trust it was fresh. Then there's the store bought pita bread being sold as Naan which just ruins the meal. Finally the Baklava... sadly, old and stale and way too sweet. I won't order from here again. U can find better."

I was worried it would be cold even with 32 degree weather but it wasn't because they package it well in black to go containers with the clear lids. Kabob was juicy, not dry. They even included sumac. The onions, radish, sabzi, feta cheese and pita bread were of substantial size I was surprised and it was all fresh. "So I rated 5 stars on my last order but this order was not consistent. The sabzi/feta cheese order came in a small togo box instead of the large one it was in last time, and I paid the same price. The dough last time came in the bottle so it was freshly poured into a cup at home. This time it tasted like straight yogurt in a styrofoam cup with half melted iced. It did not taste like the dough that comes in the bottle. Please stay consistent it's very important. "

"The fries had some flavor. The cook on the chicken shawarma is good. To-go Container is nice and I thought it protected my meal while in transit as well as kept it warm. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich with hummus and garlic sauce. I added fries and the pickled vegetables. What is lacking throughout is enough flavor in my humble opinion. The garlic sauce was quite mild in garlic flavor. The consistency is good. The falafel is a little dry, but if its kept under a heat lamp that can be anticipated. The pickled vegetables flavor is good, just not really tasting any top-note flavors or spices other than vinegar. The hummus has a great consistency, quite a mild flavor. I don't get the tahini, or olive oil, or lemon in the "bite" with the pita bread. The chicken shawarma is more traditional with no fries included inside the sandwich, just pickles and sauce. A little dry chicken but the somewhat garlic flavor sauce is slightly adding more moisture back to the bite. I really enjoyed the frozen fries seasoning. The pita bread is adequate. Overall I look forward to trying other items at Shawarma press to see if I am WOWED with mediterranean flavor on a different dish or entree. "
