I put the pizza in the air fryer for a few minutes to warm it up and it was still quite delicious. "I haven't had Mendocino Farms in many years, so I thought I would try them again. Overall, the food was ok--the quality was fine and fresh, but the flavors were lacking.
Prosciutto & Chicken - Given the ingredients I was expected to be blown away, but it was just fine. It was tasty, but not super delicious or well seasoned, and a little better when I added a little salt. The ciabatta was soft and the pesto was fine, but the amount of chicken (which was bland) and prosciutto was minimal given the price. I should not have leftover bread edges with no meat/filling in it after I finish the sandwich.
The Southern Potato salad -- Again, ok, and definitely underseasoned even with all the ingredients. And the portion was small. I expected a full 8oz deli side for the small, but I think that was 4oz and the container wasn't even full. I used to love their spicy potato salad from years ago with the giardiniera, so I was hoping for more flavor. Salt helped.
Lastly, the Lemon Chicken and Farro soup -- it was nice and warm and the broth was tasty but needed a little salt to make it shine some but the sparse, teeny pieces of chicken and bits of farro dispelled the "hearty" that was in the description. It was mostly all broth. For $7 I was expecting more.
So I give them marks for ingredient quality, freshness and creativity, plus the packaging was perfect, but I underwhelmed by the flavor (which had potential but needed more seasoning), and portion for the price (potato salad and the mostly broth soup)."

Got the calamari since the battered fish & shrimp combo wasn't available, the shrimp is definitely superior! Their brussel sprouts are incredible! Although I wish you could remove the greens topping on them. Super fresh, great price for portions, my favorite "fast food" seafood restaurant!"

"The salad was a container of greens in a box with a few slices of radish and literally 2 small slivers of bell pepper. There wasn't nearly enough dressing for it (1/2 small container) and the charge for it $10 was far too much.
When we opened the salmon nigiri, we were hit with the smell of fish- for raw sushi, this is not good. We debated if we should eat it.
The only sauces were 3 tiny soy packets, 2 packets of wasabi like it's ketchup and ginger also in a little packet that was just gross.
Store was nice to call and tell me they didn't have real crab that I had subbed for fake crab, but rainbow roll with the spicy tuna inside just felt kinda squishy, no crunchy texture not something I'd order again. I appreciate the effort .
The smelly fish will be hard to forget. For the price, you need to serve fresh ginger and wasabi. Send enough dressing for a salad and offering a sauce would be nice. "

"Let me say that I love Hungry Man's food and will continue to eat there. But my initial issue with the Escoveitched Fish (this is my 2nd time ordering it), that for the price, the fish size is small compared to other whole body fish meals I get from other spots , still stands. This meal felt more like $25 not $36. My other Jamaican spot that had a really good-sized snapper dinners for $34 (and their fish was really good) stopped serving fish altogether (maybe due to cost or supply chain issues?), but I had a hankering for escoveitch (and felt too lazy to make my own) so I decided to try HM's again. The peas and rice was good as always (and there was a lot of it), and the fish was cooked well but just ok flavor wise tho the pickle was tasty and worked when eaten together of course. But overall, in comparison, not a completely satisfying meal for me personally for the price once you factor in delivery and tip ($52). It would be nice if they could find creative ways to be a little more generous with the fish if possible. But still, I love their food. "

And for the price, the red snapper was smaller than expected and compared to the fish I get at this other spot that charges $2 less. But still, I overall truly enjoyed this meal. What I mostly appreciate about this spot is the added Jamaican dishes I rarely see on other menus here in LA. I got the Ground Food (provisions) to go with the fish (boiled green banana, yuca, and dumplings) which I haven't had on the West Coast (I'm from NYC). It's a nice break from rice n peas or white rice options especially with dishes like salt fish and ackee which is a staple. They also have stew peas with pig tails, breadfruit, jerk pork, and the bean soup so I definitely plan to order those next time. I miss those foods/flavors for sure. "
