"The delivery and presentation was okay I thought oh this might be good never eaten at this place but for a late night meal let's take a chance. But boy was I wrong. The meat chunks, no bell peppers, a slice of pepper jack cheese, and no food aroma should have given it away. The meat wasn't bad it just didn't have a Philly cheese steak flavor. And then I ordered 2 sandwiches so sadly disappointed. The bread was okay and the onion rings weren't bad. I honestly won't order this sandwich again. Maybe just a burger next time."

All of the menu items are from Miss Lek's recipes, and her food is wonderful. All of the curry offerings are great, including the panang curry, which isn't listed on the menu. The veggie delight and cashew nut are also quite tasty, as is the orange chicken and Thai fried rice. The food is always served fresh and steaming hot, and tastes so good. "We generally enjoyed our last minute delivery of Thai for dinner. The low point was the Tom Kha soup. While the first notes of citrus lemongrass and galangal were lovely, the lingering low notes of something funky (possibly just way too much fish sauce or some other fermented secret ingredient) was overwhelmingly strong and effectively resembled, how to say this lacking a better description, like regurgitation. As this is the first time we tried this soup from any Thai restaurant I can not tell you of this is be design but we will not be repeating that mistake. The E12. Orange Chicken was good but could have used more sauce and vegetables . The Pad kee mao was quite good. The Masaman Curry was bought as a curiosity spare entree. We all liked it very much! In fact what was left over was enough to turn into an entree for two when I fried a pack of firm tofu added the leftover white rice and stirred it all together. They get bonus points for knowing how to cook tofu without turning it into rubber as the others near us all seem to do. And I savored every drop of the Thai iced tea, yum! We will gladly order from here again."

"I really enjoy eating at the Toasted Yolk, but opted for delivery today. The food was just as good and tasty as it is in the restaurant! I ordered the Two Eggs and A Cake with soft scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and grits. The eggs were cooked to perfection! Few restaurants get this right! The chicken sausage is delicious (don't knock it till you try it!). The pancake is amazing. It came with whipped butter and syrup. The whipped butter is super creamy on top. I also ordered a Side Hash Grilled and Gourmet Coffee. The hash is yummy! The flavor is just right. The Gourmet Coffee is just that...gourmet. It's smooth and rich. I was a bit disappointed that I didn't receive any cream or sugar, but it's possible I missed the selection when ordering.
I also ordered the Strawberry Field Salad with blackberry vinaigrette. The grilled chicken that comes on top is like a thin sliced deli meat. That said, the Strawberry Field Salad is delicious and the blackberry vinaigrette is perfectly balanced and delicious on this salad.
All in all, great job to the Toasted Yolk! I will be ordering again!"
