"Perkins has always been one of my favorite breakfast places, but it's always hit and miss and more miss than anything in recent years. With iHop and other options, you'd think Perkins would be on their game. Especially, when you walk into the restaurant and there are 2 tables and they rent their kitchen out to other food companies because business is so low.
I ordered this BYOO and it's the smallest omelet I've ever had and isn't half the size of the container. The hasbrowns are full of grease and taste like they didn't clean the griddle from some other food. I never complain as I worked in restaurants for 15 years. But, for the price, this is ridiculous and I'm not happy. I just ordered this same meal and it was amazing! The size of a Build-Your-Own Omelet normally is and the hashbrowns didn't fall off my fork because of the grease. I'm so upset I paid what I did to get an Build-Your-Own Omelet that is 6 and a half bites. I'm not sure I'll return to Perkins after 40 years of it being my favorite restaurant full of wonderful family memories for me.

"We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."

"The Crab, Shrimp & Lobster Bisque Bowl was a mildly spicy and complex soup that did have seafood in it. I ate it over a small baked potato that I had in my fridge. It made for a filling and tasty combo. The soup would be delicious as a standalone, too. The Sticky Honey-Lemon Cake was interesting and delicious. It's a very dense cake with a delicious marscapone "pile" and some sticky toffee on top. And a sauce with grapes. They have creative desserts at this restaurant and this was one. It was lighter and less rich than their bucadinos. It's definitely shareable and yummy."

Forget other pizzas. Nonas pizzas are very large and full of consistent toppings. The only thing I would add is sauce to dip in. Believe me one maybe two pieces will do you. Another item we tried was the Beef Patties with Cheese. Upon the tik tok reviewers recommendation, it is a pastry filled with a meat mixture and mozzarella cheese. Fantastic flavor. "I was very disappointed with this meal. I’ve had Centro’s Greek salad before and loved it, but this one fell far short of what I’ve come to expect.
The salad greens were poor quality, and the garlic vinaigrette was so thick and paste-like that it hardly resembled a dressing. The flatbread was burnt black on one side and completely inedible. The crab cake was also poorly cooked and falling apart.
For a salad costing more than $35, I expect much better quality and preparation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I definitely would not order it again."
