"First time trying Sals, I like the NY theme and they get points for having Black and white cookies but for the price the pizza was not good enough even from a Southern California perspective ( not known for our pizza, good spots aren't that common). I'd give it a pass if it wasn't pushing the NY presentation but because it is I have to judge accordingly. My Dads side of the family is from Bronx/yonkers so I grew up visiting there and Jersey and also scouting out the good local places in SD and OC. The biggest issue was the crust, I ordered well done and got undercooked floppy pizza, crust didn't have much of a taste either. Wasn't much sauce on it so didn't really notice what it tasted like it was so subtle. Cheese was good quality though and tasty. "

"Where to start...how about the doughy, fresh, cheesy Spinach Pinwheel ! Tasted just-baked and came with mouthwatering marinara. The Mozzarella Sticks were crunchy and fresh, a treat I felt deserving of tonight. The Caesar Salad came with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes, which shouldn't be on a Caesar salad. Wasn't super impressed, but not worth docking a star for. Just wouldn't order this salad again. The SM 10" - 6 Slices ( 1-2 people ) was AMAZING. The buttery crust was filled with delicious toppings. The chicken was thick-sliced breast meat, and the mushrooms, sausage, garlic, and pepperoni all were plentiful as well! The Wings were gone in a flash! He said he wants to try them fried next time. So, so good. Loved the convenience of a 2 Liter Bottle of Sprite, too. This week has been HARD on us and thank you for making dinner easy and delicious tonight. Looking forward to leftovers and our next visit. Thanks, OC Pizza!!!"

"For me the Pizza here is Perfection, I've always been a pizza connoisseur of sorts, I've probably tried every pizza in Orange County and Lampost will now be my Go 2 Pizza. All the ingredients were perfect, this was not one of those pizzas that I liked but felt it could have been better had they done this or that differently, it was legitimately perfect in every way. The cheese, the sauce and the toppings and most importantly the crust/dough were just excellent. I rarely ever leave reviews for food but I was so happy with this pie that I felt compelled to do so.
My sons and I have been building a list of what we think are the best pizza places in the area for the past couple years. Today I found out Lampost is definitely my favorite, this will be the pizza place I vote for from now on! There are some close runner ups but this is definitely mine and my youngest boys new favorite, my oldest says it's in his top 3 for sure, the only reason I think he didn't crown it the King of local pizzas is cause we didn't get the thin Crust that he normally prefers."

"I ordered a pepperoni pizza from Brooklyn City Pizzeria and it was seriously good. The pizza was massive and the price was surprisingly good for how big it was. The crust was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce had a classic New York flavor that was rich and a little sweet.
The pepperoni had slightly crispy edges and just the right amount of flavor without being too greasy. Every slice had plenty of toppings and the cheese melted perfectly.
Overall, it tasted fresh, it filled me up, and the value was great. I would definitely order again."
