"Wow I was excited about this place bc of the burrito and horchata coffe I ordered but today I ordered pan dulce and a large coffee. They gave me literally 1 sweet bread ( a concha) and a 16 ounce coffee (supposed to be large), this is such a waste. I spent $13 for 1 concha and 1 coffee. I would never order this again due to the value. You could go to northgate and get multiple pan dulces and an actual large coffe for the same price. Also this place has really bad hours. I wanted to order the other day but they were closed. How can an up and coming coffee shop afford to do that? Oh yeah, they overcharge for 1 concha and a medium size coffe for the price of a large."

"The brioche sweet bread has a weird texture. I've had this brioche plenty of times from other locations, their breads are always fresh, soft, fluffy and sweet. The one I had today from this Torrance location was completely the opposite, There's no sweetness in the brioche, it taste like a regular bread you get from the market to make a sandwich, and the quality was not as fresh. As for the blueberry pastry, The blueberry filling inside was not fluffy like whipped cream as usual, it was wet and flattened.. seemed old or left out in the sun. As for the dough around it, was either over cooked/baked or just old, it was sucked in rather than round and smooth on the outside like it usually is. These pastries I buy so many times so I know how it's supposed to look and taste. I threw most of it away. Nothing was tased fresh. Two stars instead of one because the few other pastries i had was at least decent. "

"I ordered an iced coffee and a Succulent Burrito today, but received egg avocado toast instead of the burrito. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time my order has been wrong.
On a previous occasion, I ordered a Succulent Burrito and an iced coffee, but all I received was a small, unlabeled hot coffee—no burrito and no iced coffee. That happened on my wedding day, so I didn’t write a review because dealing with the hassle wasn’t how I wanted to spend the day.
I’m not sure whether these mistakes are happening at Succulent or through DoorDash, but I’ve paid too much to repeatedly receive incorrect or incomplete orders. Someone needs to double-check that the items match the order before they’re sent out.
The lids on Succulent’s iced coffee cups are also frustrating. They don’t stay secure and pop off regardless of where I hold the cup, making it difficult to handle the drink without spilling.
I’m happy to pay extra for great food and service, but premium prices should come with accurate orders, secure packaging, and consistent quality. After repeated mistakes, it’s hard to justify ordering again."
