I tend to avoid ordering salads for delivery orders because no matter where I order from - the salad is HORRIBLE. I didn't have high expectations for this salad (nothing against the restaurant), but this salad FAR SURPASSED any expectations I had.
I know my preferred salad isn't what others may like because I add so many things to it - but when I say the restaurant loaded me up and balanced the greens with the toppings perfectly - they did it perfectly.

"I have never had a bad meal from La Catrina. Even with delivery, everything arrived fresh and hot.
The Appetizer Catrina comes with strips of chicken and steak and quesadillas that can be used to make a sort of taco. The chicken wings on the appetizer are exactly what you want - very crispy and tasty on the outside and perfectly cooked and juicy on the inside. It also comes with rancho dip which is cheese dip with pico and ground beef and is delicious.
The large cheese dip is perfectly creamy and coats the included chips well.
The Burrito Banderas was tasty but honestly better once I put the rancho dip from the appetizer and some guacamole on it. But still very good on its own.
The kids mean chicken fingers and fries was a generous portion and exactly as described.

The chicken appeared old, very dry, the steak was tough in spots, not nearly as much food as they used to serve. I know they are family owned, and as such has felt the pinch of the Covid fallout and a poor economy. I work hard for my money, and for that price, I would have expected more. Shrimp and veggies were good tho, just much smaller portions."
