"TL;DR, take out packaging material absorbed all the heat and moisture emanating from the food so it dried out the Chicken Wings (6Pc) and Fries.
Disclaimer, I don't mind old bay seasoning, but too much of it overpoweres everything. Same goes with salt, too much of salt makes the meal less wanting.
RE: my order. The Chicken Wings (6Pc) were overcooked, meat was dry, excessively covered in panko, flour, etc. parts of it was soggy, oily, or dried out from the compostable packaging and plastic bag--which trapped all the moisture emanating from the food. The sauce was too thick and seemed to have too much (???) tumeric or ... old bay seasoning?
Fries were good portion, but the take-out container and plastic bag dried out the fries. Subsequently, they tasted like cardboard excessively covered in Old Bay Seasoning. The aioli sauce oddly tasted watered down. Not typical of seasoned fries usually offered as a side to crawfish.
To restaurant: Issue with 3-section compostable container; it absorbs all moisture. Plastic bag; traps excess moisture. Together, the container and box continues to "steam" the food.
Suggestion; use paper take-out boxes, lined the bottom with foil and only fold two of the four flaps. Use a paper bag to allow the steam to escape instead of trapping it in a bag.
I would only order this again if they update the photos showing the food in a different takeout container and carried in paper bag. Thereafter, will write another review."
