The banchan had its own cute four-square container and they even gave me extra rice. The meat jun was disappointing though. The egg batter to beef ratio was off---there was twice the amount of egg vs. beef, so all I tasted was the egg. The egg batter had a ton of green onions which I usually love, but it overwhelmed the dish. Plus, the beef itself didn't have much flavor, like maybe they didn't marinate it long enough. The banchan was excellent though and their kimchi is some of the best I've had. So fresh and the perfect balance of spice and tangy flavor. I will try other dishes from this restaurant in the future to see if maybe I have better luck. "

"I was really looking forward to trying Saucy Seoul, but unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing. I ordered a burrito, expecting a good balance of flavors and ingredients, but it was mostly just rice with only a few small pieces of meat. It felt like a filler-heavy meal rather than something well-balanced. My friend ordered the beef bulgogi bowl, and it was even more disappointing. The bowl was about 75% rice with barely any bulgogi—definitely not worth the price. To make matters worse, the chicken we tried was extremely overcooked, making it dry and tough to eat. The only thing they really got right was the sauce—it had great flavor and definitely added something positive to the meal. But good sauce alone isn’t enough to make up for the lack of quality and portion sizes. For what we paid, we expected a much better experience, and unfortunately, we won’t be rushing back anytime soon. There's room for some improvement though."

"The Beef K-Star Lunch Box was good. The meat was tender and fairly lean. There was also a large amount. The sauce on the beef is slightly sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. They provide rice, and I chose the mixture of white and brown rice. It was nice and fluffy. The shrimp tempura and pot stickers included with the meal are a nice touch. It is pricey, but it's a ton of food. It will easily make two meals for me."
