"I've always enjoyed the food here and have had many good experiences, which is why this is so disappointing. Recently, however, the quality seems to be slipping.
This is the second time I've received potatoes with no seasoning at all. Knowing it had happened before, I even called immediately after placing my order to specifically ask that they be seasoned, yet they still arrived completely bland.
The rye toast was also disappointing. It was very dry, barely toasted, and arrived without the butter that normally comes with the meal. At today's prices, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect properly prepared potatoes and toast that isn't just dry pieces of bread.
I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager, who apologized, but no effort was made to correct the order or offer any kind of resolution. Mistakes happen, but the lack of follow-up after bringing the issues to their attention was frustrating.
I genuinely like this restaurant and want to continue ordering from them, but experiences like this make that difficult."
