Thai Orchid Restaurant in Portland, Salem, and Vancouver has been serving fresh, tasty, and nutritious Thai food since 1992. Prapapen Saenguraiporn, the former owner and executive chef, created a menu…
I ordered the 81. Pad Tai. It's probably the best Pad Tai I've had, if not 2nd best! Great flavor, lots of chicken (all white meat) and more food than you can eat in one sitting.
Also, just fyi, there are about 5-6 options for spiciness; I chose the 2nd lowest and it was very spicy (I can eat jalapeño's with no problem).

Quite possibly the best 80. Mango Paradise and 39. Pad Him Ma Parn (Cashews). Fresh, delicious and flavorful. We will be back for more!

The pad thai was great. I ordered it with chicken, regular (lowest) spice level. It arrived hot and was a good sized portion.
Tofu salad rolls I probably won't order again. They had warmed up from being next to the hot food, and so didn't taste all that fresh. Filled with mainly iceberg lettuce, which wilts very quickly if not kept cold. Also, they came with sweet and sour sauce, rather than peanut sauce. I paid extra for peanut sauce, but the small container was barely enough for the two rolls.

GREAT EVERY TIME! We always order an extra size of the 56. Evil Jungle Prince, regular spicy, with no carrots and an extra order of rice-Even if we didn't order the extra size, It's enough for two people to have dinner if you order an extra Steamed Rice like I do, We order an extra size because we like to have a little bit left over sometimes so it's definitely great portion, and all under $30.. I don't know if all the meals are great portions but like I said this is the curry Evil Jungle Prince and it's just super yummy!
It is a bit spicy but it's not too spicy, I don't normally eat spicy food, I'm kind of a spice wimp, but sometimes I like just a bit of spicy, it's usually right on the verge of almost too spicy for me. But If you usually like spicy food, go with the medium. I also like how they put the rice in little containers & use a heat tool to seal the lids with a layer of plastic over the top, it keeps the rice from drying out & I know it's fresh when I open it. Thx!

The food here is always incredible. I have not had one bad order. The packaging is unique and most items come in sealed containers kind of like when you buy a boba drink and the top has that sealed film on it. The curry here has a deep curry flavor the sayce is delicate and the moment it hits your mouth its an explosion of unique spices . The lettuce wraps are fresh cold crisp lettuce with a filling full of that sweet with a hint of spice a bit of crunch. You cant go wrong with Thai Orchid.
