Absolutely some of the best food in the city. Great portions/super nice owner and staff. Great menu. My new go to for Italian!

I ordered 4 items for my friends and I to share. We're visiting SF and wanted to try some local Italian food. Very disappointing. PIZZA MARGHERITA was overcooked and tasted like a plain cheese pizza. SPAGHETTI CARBONARA was such a a small portion that the 3 of us literally had 2 bites each. CAPRESE salad had no balsamic on it and 3 small pieces of somewhat dried basil. 5 STARS HOMEMADE TIRAMISU was ok. Very underwhelming for the almost $100 I spent.

The gnoche I had, with meat sauce ; it was drowning in grease. In this City, there's no excuse for even mediocre bread, and there's was just, well, not good. Some Parmesan cheese might have made it more edible. Lastly, I had the chocolate cake, and it was good, though I doubt it's made in house. All in all, my dinner was chocolate cake. With how outrageous restaurant prices are, one's meal should match, and this was so not the case, I hate to say. A good word ; they got it to me in record time!

I just want to state that Luisa's gnocchi has 5 star in parentheses next to it for good reason. It is definitely 5 stars. Delicious. 10/10 would eat every single time.

Hardly any food! Gnocchi portion in this to-go container is so measly it won't even be enough as a side dish. Very disappointed.
