1/2 lb Tri Tip was a tiny bit dry but very, very good for delivery. Lg. Potato Salad is delicious and creamy.

Sadly, tried a couple times and the meat always arrives very overcooked. Last order was mesquite chicken and the dark meat was overcooked it had that thick layer under the skin. The breast and wing were inedible.
However, the gumbo is excellent. Some of the best I had in the Bay area. Would only ever order that in the future.

the Brisket Taquitos are tasty but RIDICULOUSLY small portion for $12, same on the Cup Of Smoked Beef Brisket Chili. it's delicious but just small for $10

I would have taken a picture but I could not resist the scent of hickory -- I immediately ate the sandwich. Not only was it delicious-- there was an ample supply of pork.
Don't expect a lot of photos, either -- this is the kind of food you eat, not photograph. If you want photos, go the the SFMoMA or the DeYoung but if you want a tasty pulled pork sandwich, Hardwood has you covered.
Highly recommended.

I swear you guys these ribs are so tender and so flavorful I had to take a bite and realized I hadn't taken a picture. They are so tender and juicy one of my favorite spots in Frisco. I recommend highly!!!
