The food was flavorful but what I really appreciated was that the food was not greasy or overly sweet.
I also really appreciated that the to-go containers were the sturdy type with separate sections so that the rice and noodles didn't soak up the sauce from the Orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken.
And one last thing, I loved that the Orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken were crispy and all had large chicken pieces and not just dough.

Food was really good, probably top five best Chinese Food places in Elk Grove. General Chicken Combo was enough food for two people. The Chinese BBQ Pork Bao (2) had a nice modern twist to them. The bao is more like a wrap/bun and you fill it with the meat pieces. Lots of extra meat, after filling the two wrap/buns. Hot and sour soup and wonton soups were okay, I like Joy City's soups better.

Wonton Soup So full of wontons and always arrives super hot!Spicy Chili Wontons Great flavor! Chicken Wings Our favorite from this place! Eggrolls (Pork & Shrimp) Are really crispy and love the fresh veggies and choice of dipping sauces! Asian Side Salad I love the dressing!

The Orange Chicken is my Chinese GO-TO JAM! The CRAZIEST Mix of super crunchy breading with the MOST TENDER chicken inside! The sauce IS PERFECT. Not too sweet with a hint of heat and overwhelming orange spice. I get it multiple times a month. Huge portion will last you a few meals!

I ordered the sesame chicken combo entree meal and it was almost too much for just me! The stir fried rice was perfectly cooked as well as the chicken. I always get the chow main and it is always wonderful. My picky eater son even likes it! This is defi one of the best if not the best Chinese-American rest in Elk Grove. Everything is always good!! My favorite go-to place.
