as usual the SIGNATURE BURRITO and GRITS were warm, comfy, and delicious. i also highly recommend the nitro cold NITRO COLD BREW (NOTHING needs to be added to it). I'll share the CINNAMON ROLL PANCAKES with my brother later!

Eggs were perfectly cooked for over easy, and the homefries were delicious!!! Bacon was unimpressive for the price.

Since I started working out here in Hamden, I found their breakfast spot to be perfect. They have literally the best grits I ever tasted today. I tried. I think it was called the Mexican burrito and it was fantastic. Can't remember everything that was in it, but it was good and the salsa sauce that came with it had a little spicy kick to it. The drink was great. I really recommend this place.

Another great breakfast sandwich, made to perfection. I try rice pudding everywhere sometimes idk why, but OMG! The rice pudding is amazing. All I can say it's like no other. I'm about to put in another order now.

The Banana Bread Tres Leches French Toast was terrible. It was smothered with silvered nuts and the French toast itself was burnt. Yogurt parfait had no granola and wat a big cup of yogurt with a small amount of fruit on top. They put a big glob of butter in between the toast. I am so disappointed. I love State Street Cafe, I will go back to dine in person but never again order from Door Dash
